SPORTS PAGE: Manny Pacquiao Wants The Name of The Lord To Be Glorified In Bout With Floyd Mayweather

floyd and mannyAlthough his English may not be the greatest, his message is clear: “The most important thing is the name of the Lord, that the name of the Lord will be glorified.” Manny Pacquiao took to the podium Wednesday in Los Angeles to not only speak about the long anticipated upcoming fight with Floyd Mayweather on May 2nd in Las Vegas, but also to boldly give glory to God in front of everyone watching. “I want to let the people know that there is God who can raise someone from nothing into something. And that’s me,  I can from nothing and I owe everything to God, He gave me this blessing.” Pacquiao adds.

Now whether or not God cares about the winner of a sporting event is a different topic, but we know that Manny is definitely going into this fight full of faith, confident, and ready to take on Floyd Mayweather with God by his side.
